My father (who is 65) decided to go do the crazy polar bear thing this year. It was really cold. I went & watched but didn't participate. He really hammed it up & this photo appeared on the front page of the local newspaper.

I was attending a convention for the television show Angel in 2005. You had to pay extra to attend the parties. I forgot to print out one of my receipts & couldn't get in. The woman who organized the event said she recognized my name & to stick with her & she would get me in but she had to do something first. Her big surprise was that she had invited Joss Whedon. So I got to see him & ride in the elevator with him before anyone else even knew he was there. It was so cool. I told him that I must have looked like a fool because of not having my receipt & he said that "I thought you handled it with aplomb.".The photo we were posing for was taken on my crappy camera I had then. This one just happened to show up on the official cd that I bought.

I had a habit of taking close up pics with all of my friends last year & had decided to get as many as I could so I could put them up like a collage. I came home to visit & my brother took my mother & I out to lunch, so I snapped a quick pic. He was in a car accident a few months later & passed away. This is the last pic I ever took of him.

When my sis & I were little she loved that episode of Full House where the Tanner's have a make shift birthday party for Michelle in a gas station & dress up as clowns. So I borrowed my mom's wigs (& my older sis' old dance uniform) & my brother & I put on a show for her.

I found out that a club was having & 80s prom & having never attended prom set out to get a group to go. I went with my gay friend Dave & what's funny is the other couples are now broke up.

I took my sis & we went to Vegas in May to celebrate my birthday. We took tons of pics at the wax museum including this one with Michael Jackson. I told you that I liked the close up pics.

On Halloween I ran into this guy dressed as Indiana Jones on the street & had to get a pic because I love Indy & he was cute. He was all excited & felt like a celebrity or something. He said "Wow, I was just waiting out here for a friend & this happens.".

When I was about 11 my father took us to a tiny circus outside of town & they would take a pic of you wearing a snake around your neck for $5. I have a feeling that they couldn't get away with this today.

After my friends & I hit a strip club my friend Jen decided that we had to go do her laundry in the middle of the night. We got bored & started taking sexy pics all over the laundromat. Then I wanted to act goofy & had to get in one of those industrial sized dryers. I got 2 pics before the woman working there caught on & asked me to get out. Funnily enough I had applied to work at the same laundromat months before but had gotten another job by the time they asked me to work there. I would have hated if someone did that while I was working there.

My great nephew O'Ryan & my baby Oscar. Yes, I'm 26 & have a great nephew. Of course I was born already having a niece.

Reasons I Love Entourage

Reasons I Love Entourage

1. It's trashy good fun: It's not exactly a show that usually resonates emotionally. However it's full of Hollywood, sex & money.

2. The irony of Adrian Grenier playing a huge movie star: As a teen girl who grew up in love w/ the guy (Drive Me Crazy, The Adventures of Sebastian Cole), he's still barely famous. Ask people who Adrian Grenier or Vinnie Chase are, they'll probably only know the latter.

3. Jeremy Piven: Everyone loves him for this role so this probably doesn't sound very original. I've been a fan of his forever & have seen him play many a jerk but he's still pitch perfect as Ari Gold.

4. Turtle: He's one of my favorite characters & I think he's cute. It's pretty awesome that by setting his character up w/ Jamie Lynn-Sigler the show has actually created a cool real life couple.

5. It's accesible: As someone who rarely has HBO or Showtime, it sucks to have to wait to watch shows until the dvd is released & then pay through the nose to rent or buy them. Yes, you can now watch many episodes online but it wasn't always so. Entourage has always retailed for an affordable price, under $20 right now so that even if you're tight on cash (I always am), you can buy & then resell it & not have to worry.

Dollhouse Review

Let me preface this by saying that I love Joss Whedon. I wasn't a Buffy fan from the start. I didn't get into it until the 6th season but I quickly caught up & got into Angel as well. I went so far as to attend a completely awesome convention for Angel in 2005 where I got to meet Joss Whedon. This is gonna sound weird but he was really sexy, I think it's a power thing. See my Celebrities album for photos.

Back to the show. The first episode of Dollhouse starring Eliza Dushku was okay. It centered around a hostage negotiation. I just have an intense dislike of those, I'm never watched an entire movie that centered around that because I find it boring. So that's a lot of talking. Add to that is the fact that they have Eliza Dushku looking too prim & proper in bun & glasses. Sure that appeals to some people some time but I would have went for the obvious choice.

I would have had the first episode have a lot of action & Eliza looking sexy as hell. I know that's gonna sound like pandering but I think when you have your premiere episode come out that it wouldn't hurt to pander a little. I mean you do want the chance to do all manner of interesting things right? Down the line? That doesn't happen if you get cancelled like 3 episodes in. Don't tell me that doesn't happen. I've watched far too many shows that got cancelled after 1-3 eps. Do you remember Girls Club, Miss Match or The Street? Probably not.

At any rate, I'll continue watching cause it's a Dushku Whedon show. BTW-It started very strong with the whole motorcycle dancing thing.

Trashy Girl's Shopping List

I was shopping at Walmart recently with my little sister and had to start laughing at myself. I looked at my cart and it was full of what I can only describe as the trashy girl's shopping list:

Harlequin Blaze Romance Novel
Blonde Hair Dye
Blue & Zebra Print Ruffled Panties
Chocolate Covered Cherries
